Friendly reminder that despite popular belief that Bellamy was in love with Clarke and that she “just wasn’t there yet” all throughout s2-4, Clarke was actually the first one to be called out for caring about him.

Caring about him more than the rest of their people actually.

People just kinda forget though because we saw Bellamy lose his shit over Clarke in 3x02, being the dramatic, helplessly in love mess that we all love, and everyone just fixates on that, also overlooking that she gave up trying to escape from Roan so that he would spare Bellamy’s life.

And then there’s the whole “love is weakness” and “I was being weak” thing way back in 2x09 too. I could go on forever, but my point is: nobody can convince me that she didn’t fall in love with him first.
